I like January: it feels fresh after a busy December with a little too much Christmas decorations, too much food, too much … And here in The Netherlands, we have 10 more minutes of daylight each week! I'm really looking forward to Spring, and I'm surrounding myself with shades of white and green: hyacinths, helleborus and these anemones and ranunculus. I had to buy them per piece: three anemones and two ranunculus flowers. That's one of the downsides of January: I can't pick flowers yet ...
